Controls:

WASD/ARROW KEYS to move

LEFT CLICK to shoot when playing as robot

SPACE KEY to dash when playing as robot (MUST FIRST BE UNLOCKED)

SPACE KEY to use jetpack when playing as engineer

Story: As the lone survivor of a sea monster uprising, the engineer must collect resources to upgrade their mech to fight off giant monsters and exterminate the queens. Explore the ruins of the city before the next wave arrives, otherwise your mech will take damage from the swarm. You jump from the small scale ruin exploring to the large scale mech battles.

From the team: This was made as our first ever Godot project after watching Brackeys tutorial. Our idea for the theme was switching from the small scale of the engineer trying to large scale of robot. Ideally there would have been an animation of the engineer going out of the robot to look for supplies to tie this idea to the theme "Built to Scale" better. We are proud of what we could accomplish and had a lot of fun during the GMTK Game Jam 2024.
